Over five sessions, we’ll break down the building blocks of a strong enterprise budget and give you practical tools you can apply right away. You’ll learn how to develop a budget that’s more than just numbers — it becomes a living financial plan that helps leadership make smarter decisions. We’ll also cover how to get buy-in from teams, build accountability across departments, and adjust your budget as conditions change.

Each session includes real-world examples, Excel tools, and interactive discussions with peers. You’ll walk away with a framework you can bring back to your company — and the confidence to use budgeting as a strategic driver, not just a finance task.

The five modules in this certificate program are:

• Strategies, Processes & Tools for Budget Development (July 15, 2025)
• The Three-Step Process for Developing an Enterprise Budget (July 22, 2025)
• Backlog & Burn-Off Schedules as Budget Drivers (July 29, 2025)
• Integrating & Communicating the Budget (August 5, 2025)

Each module will unpack a unique case study and will require your participation via live, online roundtable discussions; group assignments; and communication forums. Participants will receive a case study to read and review prior to each live session. The Enterprise Budgeting & Strategic Planning for Construction Finance Certificate Program will conclude with a final activity in which participants are required to submit a one-page summary demonstrating knowledge learned. Upon successful completion of the program requirements, participants will earn 10 CPE credits in Accounting and receive a certificate of completion in the form of a digital certificate.
